Overview
This is a great opportunity for Outside Sales Professionals to sell amazing educational tours to Washington, DC, New York City, the Historic East Coast, Florida, National Parks and International destinations through relationships, cold calls and conventions.
How You Will Work
What You Will Get to Do

Grow your territory through outbound sales activity – approximately 80% of your invested time.

Be laser-like in your focus on attacking your list of ideal prospects.

Be disciplined in your prospecting activities mostly through face-to-face selling in your home city and regional territory.

Leverage the relationships of our existing Schools, Districts, Diocese, and Associations.

Expertly use in person drop-ins, phone calls and emails to develop first appointments.

Attend conventions to develop relations with educators and referral partners.

Run exceptional first appointments/needs analysis/discovery calls.
-
Develop and deliver custom proposals to solve the Tour Leaders’ pain.

Anticipate and handle objections – the first one is free!

Bring prospects to a natural close by communicating the differentiators of NationsClassroom and how they benefit each educator.

Qualify inbound opportunities – approximately 10% of your invested time.

Screen inbound opportunities to find mutual fits and kindly refer those that are not.

Serve existing schools and educators – approximately 5% of your invested time.

Build credibility and relationships by assisting our current/existing educators in promoting their tours and driving registrations through virtual parent nights.

Review itineraries with your teachers to ensure that their expectations will be exceeded and share feedback with our tour planning team.

Stay in touch with your sales to ensure their expectations are exceeded and to win new business through relationships in the School, District, Diocese, or Association.

Administrative Coaching and Development – approximately 5% of your invested time.

Write a business plan for success – plan quarterly, adapt weekly, execute daily.

Follow-up with prospects during each stage of the sales process – everyone loves a handwritten note.

Communicate pricing specifications with the Pricing Manager and develop custom proposals.

Attend weekly accountability and coaching meeting(s) with the Sales Manager.

Host the Sales Manager once a quarter for sales development and planning.

Maintain HubSpot CRM – we know your time is precious and we keep this to a minimum.
Skills and Qualifications

Proven ability to win business that YOU prospected and created – not just inbound.

Understanding/skills of each stage of the sales process – especially prospecting.

Be a self-starter with internal drive and motivation.

Plan your quarter, month, and week, and execute your plan with a disciplined work ethic.

Create good feelings by naturally connecting with prospects and turning strangers into friends.

Solve prospect problems by being genuinely inquisitive to discover and then meet their perceived and unperceived needs.

Deadline motivation and attention to detail are non-negotiable.

Respond within 24 hours to customer inquiries.

Knowledge of Canva, Google Workspace, and/or HubSpot is a plus!
