Charles Darwin would be 211 years old today and institutions across the world are celebrating #DarwinDay in honor of his revolutionary contributions to the world of science.

The National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. is celebrating Charles Darwin’s birthday by highlighting his many contributions to the field of science.  Today scientists from the museum who study evolution will be on hand to answer visitors’ questions, and demonstrate their research.

Visitors to the museum today can find the scientists throughout the 1st floor exhibitions to discover the many ways they learn about evolution at the museum, from DNA and fossils, to plants, humans and more.
