Tales of pirateering capture our imaginations while teaching about maritime history. From forts and seashores to ports of call, our National Parks offer a bountiful treasure of information.

Learn more from the National Park Service about places that boast tales of piracy and privateering.

Experience the stories of sailors, merchants, and Revolutionary War privateers at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site. Or, learn about Cape Cod National Seashore Marconi Beach, not far from where a slave merchant and pirate ship meet its demise.

To learn more, visit Ye Parks of Pirates and Privateers page.
